This past Friday, my mom Linda, had a little art show for some special clients of Sotheby`s in the Old Village. She has had a few shows up north in the past that have been quite successful but this time she was not alone. The show also featured Amy Reshefsky and Lisabel, who paints mostly skiers and cyclists, and a sculptor named Louis Paniagua.
I obviously decided to go to support my mom and just see if I could add to my already huge collection of art. She was featuring her Santa Fe collection which is my favorite, it consists mostly of indigenous people and owls. I love warm colors so I tend to fall in love with my mom’s art. She had a painting in particular that I had to have but did not manage to purchase this time around, a huge native woman with a white owl on her shoulder. The colors are in the grey tones which I am just in love with.
Here are a few pics of the night.
