The Canadian Shield Event

What a perfect day for the Canadian Shield Event to be in Tremblant.  This event, formally known as the You Look Good Riders Cup took place this past week-end and the weather could not be more perfect. The slopesyle series is based on performance, style and skill. Athletes as young

Cross Country Skiing in Tremblant

I decided to get back into cross country skiing this year.  I live very close to the bike path so I don’t see why not and it’s a great work out.  The bike path is a perfect place to cross country ski in the winter and I sometimes mix it up by going directly on the golf Le Geant if I have all my dogs with me.  Another great place to go is

New Market in Town

A new little market opened right near the resort and has become my new favourite place.  Its located on chemin du village between the resort and the old village of Mont Tremblant under the offices of Sotheby’s. It’s called M2Go.  They have a wide range of speciality items and fantastic meals that are pre made and fresh.  They carry losts of meals you would find at Milly’s Restaurant and also the bakery L’Accent Chantant that used to be located on top of the coffee [...]

24h Tremblant Event

This years 24h ski event for Charles Bruneau has recieved over $1,800 000.00 in donations.  This is defineately something the resort can be proud of.   This event always brings tons of people to Tremblant and usually kick starts the season. For me personally, I have been to every 24h event so far and if I am not working during the event or just there for support, I love being part of it.   This year the media coverage was impressive, I was [...]

Second Week-end of Snow

This week-end was the second week that Mont Tremblant has been open.  We had a few rough patches as the hill opened last Thursday but after a hot spell we lost all the snow.  This week-end was gorgeous. Friday was snowing all day and Saturday was sunny and the snow jets were

Halloween Week-end

What a gorgeous week-end for trick or treating, the weather was perfect and the resort was packed with tons of families for Halloween.  The merchants on the resort open their doors every year for trick or treaters,  mostly locals but there are some families that will come up for the week-end especially this year as it fell on a Sunday.  I would say that the numbers doubled in comparison to last year and I am assuming that the sunny [...]

Indian Summer

Tremblant has been having  an Indian Summer, the weather has been in the low 20 degrees with plenty of  sun.  The air smells good, the leaves are changing colors and to be honest its my favourite season. I decided to take my lunch break at the top of the Sommet, which  never happens but it made all the difference.  I hadn’t been up

Boogie Wonder Band

Boogie Wonder Band was in Tremblant this past Saturday night and my girlfriends had the night scheduled for some dancing, so it was obvious where we were headed. I’ve heard of Boogie Wonder Band because they’ve been to Tremblant before but I hadn’t seen them yet, so we started the night with dinner and drinks at La Diable before we made it up to the Plaza. The show started at nine and I had no idea what to expect, but when we got to [...]

Lovin Lake Tremblant

I finally found the time to take a half day off work to enjoy the summer.  Nothing better than a day on Lake Tremblant,  in the sun with friends hanging out surfing and just soaking it all in.

Tremblant Turtle

I was driving my car on Chemin du Lac Mercier going to visit a property when I saw this huge turtle on the side of the road. The weather this week has been incredible and really warm and this thing was just sitting there in the sun right on the street.  I passed it going pretty fast when I slammed on the breaks just to make sure I was seeing correctly.
