A new little market opened right near the resort and has become my new favourite place. Its located on chemin du village between the resort and the old village of Mont Tremblant under the offices of Sotheby’s. It’s called M2Go. They have a wide range of speciality items and fantastic meals that are pre made and fresh. They carry losts of meals you would find at Milly’s Restaurant and also the bakery L’Accent Chantant that used to be located on top of the coffee [...]

The Real Ironman
Meet the real Canadian IronMan Today while eating at my favorite casse-croute in Mont Tremblant, I noticed a unique individual pull up on his tricycle to buy a hot dog. He soon come over to ask directions due to his bad eye site, and to our surprise he was asking how to get to Halifax! We inquired as to where he came from and he said Clearwater B.C., what!?

Quiet Season
The quiet season has arrived, the leaves have fallen and the crowds are gone. Canadian Thanksgiving and the closing of the Golf courses usually marks the end of the season but there are some people that enjoy visiting Mont Tremblant during this time. There are a few benefits as well as downsides that I have noticed. Here are a few…

Veggie Burger Heaven
Normally you would not think of healthy options when it comes to Casse Croute’s but Miss Patate has the best veggie burger in town. They are located on the 117 highway about 15 minutes before Mont Tremblant (on the right) and definitely worth the stop. Don’t get me wrong, I love my greasy food but I also try and eat healthy and this veggie burger is guilt free. Miss Patate has all the options of a regular Casse Croute but they also [...]

How to Putt on Mountain Courses
First things first, I broke my best score today at the Geant golf course by shooting a -4 (68) and three putted the last hole to miss the course record by one shot! That pissed me off beyond belief but maybe another day, right? Anyway, the major reason this happened to me today was because of my putting.

Another day at the beach in Tremblant
I consider myself well traveled and I have visited many countries with plenty of beaches and the one in Tremblant never disappoints. I think I’m addicted, especially this summer, the weather has been awesome. When the weather is just right its perfectly normal to hang out all day in the sun and chill on the beach without a care in the world. It’s Tremblant and I gotta live the lifestyle, ya know. C’est dure tu sais…

Fly Fishing in Tremblant
I spent some time with my cousin Phil on La Diable River for a full day of fly fishing. He’s been fly fishing since he is 8 years old so I thought it would be great if I tagged along to take some photos. I’ve been once before and enjoyed the experience but I don’t think I have the patience to do it on a regular basis. I can see why people enjoy the sport though, just being on the [...]

Best poutine in town
Le Casse Croute BEN-VENUE I’m fortunate enough to have the best casse croute in Quebec right in Tremblant, and I do have the experienced taste buds to make this statement (I have the waistline to prove it). Located on your way in or out of Tremblant on the 117 it would be a huge mistake not to have a bite at Ben-Venue. Casse croutes are everywhere in Quebec, they are the equivalent to fast food restaurants in the U.S. except that many are family run and have a [...]

Spartan Race Tremblant
A Battle has started at Place St. Bernard in Mont Tremblant, Quebec. The Spartan Race is working in conjunction with the YMCA and their Strong Kids Foundation. It was a 2 mile course with outrageous obstacles. The competitors battled against fierce competition, and received a hero’s celebration. The race is designed to test your resilience, strength, stamina and ability to laugh in the face of adversity. It was a unique obstacle course and a unique race to say the least. I [...]
