Cross Country Skiing in Tremblant

I decided to get back into cross country skiing this year.  I live very close to the bike path so I don’t see why not and it’s a great work out.  The bike path is a perfect place to cross country ski in the winter and I sometimes mix it up by going directly on the golf Le Geant if I have all my dogs with me.  Another great place to go is

24h Tremblant Event

This years 24h ski event for Charles Bruneau has recieved over $1,800 000.00 in donations.  This is defineately something the resort can be proud of.   This event always brings tons of people to Tremblant and usually kick starts the season. For me personally, I have been to every 24h event so far and if I am not working during the event or just there for support, I love being part of it.   This year the media coverage was impressive, I was [...]

Boogie Wonder Band

Boogie Wonder Band was in Tremblant this past Saturday night and my girlfriends had the night scheduled for some dancing, so it was obvious where we were headed. I’ve heard of Boogie Wonder Band because they’ve been to Tremblant before but I hadn’t seen them yet, so we started the night with dinner and drinks at La Diable before we made it up to the Plaza. The show started at nine and I had no idea what to expect, but when we got to [...]

Whitewater kayaking around Tremblant

Spring is here, the rivers are full and the rapids are big!   The Tremblant region is a great place for all levels of whitewater kayaking throughout the spring and summer.  During the first few weeks of spring the snow melt and rain provide a lot of opportunities for more advanced paddlers, the Laurentian area has plenty of world class steep creeks and rivers. As the spring runoff dissipates the rivers become more friendly and available to intermediate and beginner boaters. Le Diable The Diable river flows out of Parc Mont-Tremblant right next to Mont [...]

Tremblant Ski Season has Arrived

As it stands right now we are up and running for the ski season.   Station Mont Tremblant is working in collaboration with mother nature to make sure that we have as many tracks open as possible.  The weather is nice and sunny today and cold enough to keep what little snow we have permanently on the mountain. We are expecting a few inches over the week-end which should be a great way to kick start the season.  I will be [...]
