Tremblant has great spas, some that are quite unique and well worth the visit if you are vacationing in the area.

I enjoy having my masseuse come to my place and have the experience in my home in front of the fireplace with my music. When she leaves after my usual one and a half hour rub down, I am steps away from my shower and then my bed.  Heaven is.  She can come to your rental home or hotel room if your not in the mood to move after a full day of skiing. Spa Scandinav is a great place to go with your better half or friends.  I always tell people to book a massage and to arrive about 2 hours before to get the full experience.  The idea behind this spa is to move from extremely hot areas back to freezing areas, and as you relax your metabolism is working overdrive. There is a fabulous steam room, sauna, hot tubs and the natural river (Le Diable) which is crazy during the cold winter months, definitely not for the weak at heart.  I also think that the best time to experience this place is at night during the off seasons.  Winter is great too, when all the little white Christmas lights are in the trees and you are in your bathing suit relaxing and taking in the cold air in front a a nice big outdoor fire, it’s pretty spectacular especially if there is a light snowfall.  Been there done that.  This spa is must at least once or twice or three times…

Outside at Spa Scandinav

There is the spa at the Fairmont Amerispa which is nice too.  Not as original as the Scandinav but very effective as well. You get the full 5 star treatment high-end hotel feel to it, so that’s always a good thing. They have the indoor/outdoor pool with a full gym.  I prefer the spa at the Fairmont in Whistler if I were to choose one but the one in Tremblant is fab too .

There is the Spa at the Quintessence hotel. I’ve been there once and its got the major high end feel to it as well with the high end price tag but if you got the cash, go for it, its great.

There is also the spa at Tremblant Sur Le Lac which was the old Cuddles, back in the day.  Many people I know go there and love it.  They supposedly do great pedicures too.  I’ve seen the place and I recall just a perfect view of the Lake and it had a really old school plush feeling to it.

So, if your in Tremblant during summer or winter, you might as well get the full deal and get a massage while your there. If not here, when?
