Mont Tremblant is a great place to visit all year round. We have 4 distinct seasons with a wide range of temperatures. Mont Tremblant has a continental climate, often providing ideal weather conditions for the resort.

In the winter, the climate can be quite harsh and unpredictable; the snow cover can reach a height of three meters. Although the average temperature in January, the coldest month, is around -17 C, the thermometer often drops to -40 C. The ski hill receives abundant snow for the ski season.

Visitors should bring a warm jacket, hat, gloves and winter boots during the winter season, as the area normally receives a large snowfall with the greatest amount in December and January. I love winters in Quebec, yes its really cold but its a dry cold which is nice. The snow makes a cracking sound when you walk and the air is crisp and can make your eyes tear up. It keeps you young and your skin nice and tight (very important for the ladies, myself included).

Summers are very warm, suitable for golfing, swimming, boating, and other outdoor activities. It is really a fantastic time of year in Tremblant. Its been very hot and humid so far (2010). It tends to surprise people how hot it can get during the summer, many guests think that Tremblant is a winter destination only.

Spring seasons are generally warm with a lot of snow melt, spring skiing and river’s which are full to the brink, with temperatures fluctuate a lot in spring , experiencing hot and cold conditions.

There is considerable rainfall and chilly conditions in the Fall, so it is advisable for visitors to come prepared with an umbrella or rain jacket during these months and appreciate the changing of the leaves.
